SSC CHSL 2026 Exam Overview
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam every year to recruit 12th-pass candidates for various Group ‘C’ government posts. Through this exam, candidates can get jobs such as Data Entry Operator (DEO), Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), and Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) in different ministries and government departments. The SSC CHSL Syllabus 2026 is designed to check a candidate’s basic knowledge and skills. In Tier 1, candidates have to attempt objective multiple-choice questions from four subjects: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. These sections test reasoning ability, current affairs knowledge, basic mathematics, and grammar. Tier 2 is a descriptive paper where candidates have to write an essay and a letter or application in English or Hindi to test their writing skills. Checking the complete SSC CHSL Syllabus 2026 helps candidates understand all the topics and prepare better for the exam.
